  It was fun creating stem material with the help of  AI tools.Now it's time to revise and check:) Good job:) Always a pleasure to be your teacher.

 First of all we did some research on the net to learn about different foundations of the building via google. Then,we watched videos to understand the overall gist on youtube. Some of them were really hard to understand ,though. Then our teacher told us  about 'raft foundation ' and seismic isolator. Then we modelled it with simple stuff we have in class and did some test. It was  quite informative and enjoyable as well.

 First, we searched for others premodelling this in order to understand how it works and we watched a video on youtube to gain information. We found a box and covered it with paper .We wanted it to look like a house so we created a roof using the cover of the box. We used crayons to color it. Wanted it to be pretty:) Finally our first prototype was ready. Now it was time to test it. Then, we visited the phisycs atelier and our physics teacher illustrated another way of designing a prototype in order to realize the logic behind it.

  Now it's time to complete the missions and open the safe in order to save the city. We managed it altogether:) Learning with STEM is FUN!

 We really had fun while doing vocabulary practice:)

  It was quite interesting and meaningful for our pupils to get information about sustainable cities as our city is located in a highly seismic region and we've experienced the 7.0 İzmir Earthquake previously.So the students listened to as eyes and ears on. It was a good opportunity to introduce  sustainable cities  It was also a good chance for me as an EFL teacher to introduce the related vocabulary as well.
